The Zeeuws Museum is housed in the Abbey in the center of Middelburg, the beautiful capital of the Dutch province of Zeeland, since 1972.

FRIENDs of the ZEEUWS MUSEUM
The Stichting Vrienden van het Zeeuws Museum (‘Friends of the Zeeuws Museum Foundation’) was set up in 1994 to support the work of the museum. Donations and members’ subscriptions are used to acquire new items for the museum collection. Many fascinating objects of cultural and historical importance have been purchased with the support of the Foundation. Friends of the Museum are kept informed of what the museum is doing by means of a newsletter and invitations to exhibitions and other activities.
