More and more of us are feeling lonely and disconnected from each other. The Zeeuws Museum wants to be a place that helps people to connect. To discover how we can achieve this, we are experimenting together with others. In eenZM Open atelier we share what inspires us and what we discover together.

Abdijplein Middelburg

The eenZM Open atelier is part of the eenZM Open Square project. For this project, we’re using the Abdijplein (Abbey Square) for our quest as it’s a public space, you don’t need a ticket or a reason to be in the square. You can simply be there, stroll around, watch what’s going on or start up a conversation. Using public spaces can help us to connect more, to collaborate and to be more considerate of others. This place belongs to no one and to everyone. We believe that artworks and other experiments in the square can help us to think creatively about what we need to feel more connected to each other.

Neighborhood Gatherings

We meet once a month, whenever possible outdoors on the Abdijplein. During these meetings, we brainstorm and try things out. We talk, listen, create, eat or just hang out together. Everyone is welcome. Will you join us? Look at the page eenZM Open Square for more information.
